Fx impact fixed shroud

Just received my .25 cal fixed shroud kit and .30 cal fixed shroud barrel is coming next week. I really like it! There were no instructions but it's easy to install. You just unscrew the old telescoping shroud and screw on the new one. I took the barrel assembly off to get a better grip on the barrel and also so I wouldn't stress the barrel screw.

In my opinion the sound is similar but I didn't shoot the old shroud first for comparison. The nice thing about the fixed shroud is that you can add more cups to lower the sound a touch more. I wanted the fixed shroud because I feel the gun can be more accurate with a more rigid shroud. I can say that it feels very sturdy to me versus the telescoping version.

I just got my fixed shroud for my .30 Impact. I think it is much better than my telescoping shroud. I took my telescoping shroud apart and found that it had no internal orings (1 mm x 23 mm) from the Ernest Rowe video. It also did not have the delrin bushing. It also did not have the holes in the internal portion of the shroud that Ernest Rowe had in his.
