FX Impact fixed shroud

Anyone have any experience with this shroud?



It is that One and the extendable shroud that are sold where I'm from. Wondering wich One is Most quiet.

That looks like picture of the extendable shroud anyways.

FX still hasn't released the fixed shroud to the public. Select few only have them.

Unless you get one made, as I have. And it is noticeably quieter than extendable.

I have a feeling it is the exact same as the extendable just without the extendable tube on the outside.

The other pictures on that site show fixed shroud with fx stacks moderator.

Call supplier and confirm which they are selling.

I did, as I Said they offer the fixed in the Picture and the extendable. The stackable shroud is not leagal in our Country so they don't sell them

How quiet will depend on the power of the rifle. If you are restricted to 12J or 10J power in .22, then fixed shroud will be quiet as it will have sufficient chamber space within shroud (between muzzle and end-cap of shroud) to muffle the sound. Similar to the way european sub-12 WC is configured.

Definitely the extendable shroud as fixed shroud without a moderator will be quite loud.
