FX Fx impact gauge help

hello all,
can anyone help removing my bottle gauge on my impact M3,
I have degassed the gun but the gauge is so tight is there a hidden grub screw or similar i need to remove first ?,
i have a air leak behind the gauge i need to look into and get fixed,
thanks
i have looked but couldn’t find any info on how tom remove
FX puts thread locker on the gauge, you will need to use a wrench to break it loose.

Thanks, i was just a bit concerned as it feels so tight but makes sense …..
I removed the bottle gauge on my Panthera yesterday because of a serious leak. Because of the factory threadlocker,It was a daunting job to say the least. Upon removal, I found the X-Ring was destroyed.

After removing the gauge, make sure to remove all traces of the threadlocker from both the internal and external threads. When reinstalling, the gauge should be hand tight only.

Interestingly I took my M3 impact outside a few days ago.
Sitting on the bench, it developed a leak from behind the gauge.
Brought it back in and the leak stopped. Must have been the temperature change. Wasn’t even that cold out, in the 30’s.

you could hear the leak, went from 175 bar to 110 bar or so. Guess I’ll have to change that seal also.

If you have one, a 1-1/16" socket wrench works great. It fits over the housing of the gauge once the plastic protector housing is removed.
Otherwise, I had to grind down an open-end wrench in order for ti to fit between the gauge and the block to remove the gauge before I got the socket.
And yes, snug by hand is all the tightening needed once all of the factory goo is removed.
