I bought a 700mm Harmonic Balance shroud for my M3 and it is EXTREMELY TIGHT. So tight, it is very difficult to turn and I am flexing my barrel like crazy just to turn it a little.
Looking at videos of others using their harmonic balancers, they can easily turn to each hash mark. There is evern a "click" when turning to the hashmarks on the videos, where mine doesn't "click" at all.
Did they change the design of these and add a "click"?
I unscrewed my weight all the way off and it is just plain threads, no way for the "clicks" to work on mine. I can also see that the weight and CF shroud are very tight together since the CF shroud is has a worn "shine" on the CF where the weight screws over it.
Do any of you have the same problems with your Balance shrouds, or is mine defective?
