Fx Impact M3 22 Sniper, NOT Firing

Hello:

Last November I bought a Fx M3 22 Sniper, I

have shot it quite a bit since then. I was shooting

it the other day and it just stopped shooting.

I have not adjusted anything except the macro and

the micro wheels. It was set at 150 for the first reg.

and 70 for the 2nd reg. just like I received it from Utah

Air. I have pressure at both gauges and it sounds like the hammer is hitting whatever it hits when I pull the trigger.

but no air comes out the barrel! Could it be a stuck regulator ? what are your idea's ?

Does your gauge at the rear read pressure? If so, there is pressure behind the valve. Maybe the valve rod broke, or the c3 bumper is damaged like the older fx impacts.

bottle 230 bar

And your barrel is lined up properly? Hasn’t slid forward at all?

Remove the barrel, take a flashlight and look into the magazine well at the transfer port. Make sure there is nothing obstructing it.

Barrel is tight

O-ring in barrel for probe

no air leaking around probe

no air out of barrel

air doesn't seem to be at probe

How far can I go before I void my warranty?

Thank you AGN members for your suggestions And Thank you FX for moderating these threads. madeintheuk had it right the valve guide piston broke off the valve guide rod. I called FX and we troubleshot the problem. Thank you again FX for reaching out to me to help me with my gun, I don't know of any other manufacturer that would care enough about there customers (since they already got my money) to monitor chat groups and to reach out to help there customers. I spent 18 years as a gunsmith at a pawnshop so I know all mechanical things can and will develop problems at some time in there lives. I have personally have had to send in for repairs 2 Freedom Arms 454 revolvers to be repaired, and I believe the are the finest made revolvers in the world. I had to send in my Smith and Wesson 500 to get the frame replaced after thousands of rounds fired, my model 29 44 mag for a new trigger pin. So as you can see it does not matter who makes the gun or the quality of the manufacturing they can all break at some time. Thanks again FX for caring about their customers, we are lucky to invest in such a great company that stands behind their products.
