Tuning FX IMPACT M3 - 2nd regulator issue ( NEED HELP ASAP)

When I broke my amp reg I’d try to fill the gun with air and none of the regulators would move.. I just installed the new reg and changed out the Oring on the inside.. now when I try to fill the gun the bottle and the first reg fill like Normal but the 2nd reg is staying at zero… tried to take a shot and the pellet never came out… any I deas of what that means and and what I could do about it?

Not knowing How you broke your reg......
Check for blockages in the air passages!!!!
Is Air flowing to the Second reg???
To check and clear the passage.
Remove the 2nd Reg. Screw in your bottle to see if you have a strong air flow.

If that is air passing, check the passages in the 2nd reg.
I use a strand of fine wire, a stranded cable wire....
Insert into the small air passages in the adjustment screw and Delrin piston!

Good luck,

First off you need to drain the air before reducing the air pressure via the reg screw.

The vast majority of the o line videos, Ernest Rowe and FX state this. I have seen 1 reference to turn in 1/4 turn and shoot 2 shots them repeat.

The theory is running the screw in while under pressure damages the belville washers.

I would say you have also cut the small oring on the adjuster screw . 004 Buna 90 if I remember correctly
Same problem here. Except my 2nd reg won't deplete after dry firing or turning the adjustment screw. Are there alternatives to these methods or am I just screwed?

With the Bottle off, dry firing is the Basic way of empty the air completely out the gun...
This Has to work, if the gun fires correctly.... so dry fire until no more POP from the gun....
Just a dull thud of the hammer hitting the valve!!

The second method by Ernest also should work...
When you turn out the adjusting screw, you are increasing the cutoff pressure of the reg.
So this will open the reg valve to allow air to flow OUT to depressurize the system......

It didn’t have to be the OP who screws the amp reg too far out. I got a Maverick that leaked the instant I adjusted the reg to a higher pressure. Myself and FX surmised that it may have happened before the gun shipped to me. Everybody has new employees and new employees make mistakes.
If you pull the adjuster screw and look at it, usually looks like there are three O rings. There are only supposed to be two. The top one shears in half around the diameter and the outer portion gets pushed up the stem by pressure.
These little O rings are a turd to replace. Be patient and you will get it.
