FX Impact M3 3D printed mods

Hello everyone, I wanted to start a thread and post pictures of some accessories I designed and 3D printed for my M3.

Here are the mods installed on my rig in its test/tuning set-up (yes, I have an indoor shooting bench to an outdoor range to 160yards. I am very lucky, I know):

Details:

I've got about an 82in wingspan so wanted a longer pull length. Butt pad is curved for my shoulder from a sitting position, but works standing. Prone it's ok.

3D printed parts (pad and frame interface):

- The pad portion is printed with a filament change about half way so that the shoulder contact ribs and curved section are made of flexible TPU filament. You can just barely see the separating line to the right of the triangles on the butt pad (second picture). It's not super flexible, but provides good grip and some give on the shoulder. I played with the infill and triangle size/placement to get the flex I wanted.
- PETG for the rest. Settings are: 4 perimeters, 50% infill, .20 resolution, no supports needed. I'm using a Prusa i3 MK3S+.
- The frame interface locks in like the stock pad. No modifications are needed to the rifle, only removing the original pad. It is not adjustable for height like the stock pad though (which would help for prone shooting). But I rarely shoot prone anymore.

Misc. Parts:

- The extenders are "standard" 7.5mm carbon arrow shaft sections cut to your preferred length.
- 2x M3 x 19mm cap screws and square nuts (pad to extender lock)
- 2x M4 x 20mm cap screws and square nuts (frame insert to extender lock)

Here are the Fusion 360 design images, to include a shorter fixed length one, that I did not print for myself, but a friend has it on his Impact.

Unfortunately it does not appear I can attached the .3mf files for the above. If you would like the files, PM me with your email and I can send them that way. Unless someone here knows a better way to share them (besides on Thingiverse or other 3D file sharing sites - haven't yet gone down that rabbit hole).

Alternatively, I could print them out and ship all the parts, but PM me on that to discuss details. I've not priced it all out as I never intended to market them. Also, not sure of the rules here on that service. If enough interest I will look it up. Rough guess would be about $40 - $60 for the parts, shipped, depending on type. Parts are cheap to print, but it did take a fair bit of time to design them. They may be cheaper online from China/eBay once they see this and pirate them. HA!

Next post will cover the FX Radar mount (seen in the first picture) that allows it to hang out front and attached to the lower rail, thereby not interfering with harmonics.

I welcome comments and suggestions to these types of posts and my parts!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks to Racenviper for the heads up on file posting...here are the 3D printer files for you to slice and print them yourselves. If printing the "...Buttstock_Pad" and you want it dual material like I did, you need to add that settings yourself in your slicer. It should print OK all in TPU if you wanted, but might be too flexible unless you increase the infill.

For the (length) adjustable pad assembly, there are separate files for the two main components.
