Yes it will. I tried one and I could attach my FX chronograph and the poi would not drop, but I did not think it improved my accuracy at all. Took it off.
First I upgraded my MK2 shroud to a "integrated barrel tunner" and shoot it in my gun club @ 100 meters for about a year. Then the barrel tensioner surfaced, and I must have it. Shoot with that for about a thausand pellets, and I am back to tunner again. In my eyes the floating liner and tunner combination works the best. .25 cal 34gn MK1 and MK2 's, 700 liner floating on orings and the integrated tunner without any other weight up front ( no moderator) is what I use for 100 meters BR.
