Tuning FX impact m3 compact tune

He gave you something just as important, his speed. So let’s put on our thinking caps. He’s at 865 so let’s add 4%. So his reg setting will probably get him around 900fps max speed with the valve knob wide open. It can be 895 or 910fps, don’t get too hung up on being exact. It will only make you crazy. Then he probably shaved another 20 or so fps off by reducing his hammer strike. Then another 10fps with the valve knob. So you can wait for some numbers that might not correlate to your gun, or just knock this out in a couple minutes.
Thats the part i get confused with im not sure when to use each adjustment knob and in what order to achieve the correct balance and harmony.

heres my........
"impacts are a piece of cake to tune"..........tune.

1. start with the valve adjust out past the 4th line, and leave your wheel on 16,

2. shoot and keep turning up your micro till your velocity stops rising.

3. click the wheel down 1 number at a time,
-or-
turn the micro down a few clicks at a time till velocity drops about 15-20fps

(since the macro and micro adjust the same thing, but do it in different increments,
you can choose to do either,
on my m3 it seems one click of the wheel = 4 to 5 clicks on the micro)

4. slowly turn the valve adjust in till velocity drops another 10fps or so.

5. enjoy your tuned impact or fine tune more if you wish.

do the same thing any time you increase or decrease regulator pressure,
to find a decent balanced state of tune.

Basically this up there 👆. Once you reach the max speed with the micro adjust I don’t turn it down until velocity drops 15-20, I only go until the velocity just starts to drop at all. Rest I do exactly the same. I think either way you will end in a good spot. Now with a compact M3 I think using this method you will find a nice velocity at 100 bar on the second regulator.

Cause i can always learn how to tune it takes practice.

NO! it takes knowledge
and an understanding of how a pcp works.

the impact is super quick and easy to tune,
but you need to know to do it properly,
and understand what each adjustment actually does.

the way i posted above will get you there,
if you choose to follow it lol
