Hi in need of some help my new impact ms .25 which has shot about 300 slugs so far and it decided to start to play up today, i have had it for a week now and decided to start to play with the settings over the chrono, So i rolled up the micro wheel from 4.5 to 5 and the impact wouldn’t cock so i wound it back to 4.5 and it cocked and shot but instantly down on power and it is blowing air from the breech where the slug/pellet slides into the barrel i can feel the puff of air on my face so I’m guessing its blown a o ring ? If someone could point me in the right direction ??,

The hammer wheel micro adjustment is probably adjusted very far and is causing the issue where the gun doesn't want to cock. If you're feeling a puff of air on your face that means it's an issue with the rear block area. It could be either the barrel o-rings or an issue with the valve rod itself.

Hi thanks for your reply, i have just found on the table where i was shooting a small o ring about 1mm thickness and about 8mm circumference this has obviously blown out of the breech somewhere any ideas where before i start to strip ?

Barrel removed its looking like the o ring could be from the inside of the transfer port which i guess seals around the probe ?, As mine is missing ?

That sounds right. It might not have been set right or knocked out of the way if the probe was misaligned. I'd get a new o-ring and check the alignment of your pellet/slug probe.

Is there a slug port on the barrel? You want to make sure that's the port your are using (face down) if you want to shoot slug.

Also, make sure the gun is uncocked when you adjust the macro/micro wheels.

Hi thanks for everyone’s help but i got it sorted it was the o ring inside the transfer port that had blown out i have a o ring kit on the way so will replace it when it arrives and i have the slug port correct way up as had a slug barrel fitted at purchase.
