FX IMPACT M3 Question, Front Reg issue...

If you tried screwing it in under pressure you may have damaged an oring. This can occur with either regulator if there is pressure.

Easiest way to check the regs is to degass the gun.

Take the bottle off first. Next, Make sure the plenum isn't holding pressure. Once degassed, screw in (clockwise) the first reg and second reg if you want to check both. Don't force it once the regulator adjustment bottoms out, you can damage the parts if you do.

Once bottomed out, back it off a half to full turn. Then screw the bottle back on to the first regulator. You should be able to slowly watch the pressure increase on both regs by simply unscrewing (counter clockwise) the regulator a little at a time.

The first regulator is more of a pain because you have to take the bottle off everytime to adjust it and a little goes a long way. If you mess up, just degass the gun and then screw it in some and start again. An 1/8 to a 1/16 of a turn can make a big difference.

Thank you will give that a shot...

Another thing, since I don't know how familiar you are with the gun, make sure you know which pressure gauge represents the 1st and 2nd regulator, along with which represents the bottles pressure. With the second regulator, you should see the pressure slowly increase on the gauge as you unscrew it.
Yes first reg is under the bottle in the front, second reg is behind the trigger, thanks again
