FX Impact M3 versus FX Maverick

Your only using a 370mm ling barrel for the 23 grain .177 slugs ? Your maverick must be seriously powerfull ! I have the fx m3 800mm .22 caliber barrel tungsten hammer and slug kit so if I got a caliber change to .177 I should be able to move them easily to 1,100 fps. I can push 31.2 grain in .22 caliber at 1,060 fps. With just 150 bar. I might have to grab a .177 barrel and try those. Or get a drs pro to sling those, if they do the drs pro in .177 I'm not sure. That woukd be a fun .177 slug shooter !
No, it's a 370mm twist (1:14.6") the barrel is 625mm

You may be able to get the 23 grain. 177 slugs to 1100 fps, but it will not be easy. It definitely won't happen at 150 bar. I don't see a DRS making that kind of power with any usable shot count. It takes A LOT to push heavy .177 slugs that fast, due to the very small diameter the air has to push against. It is way easier to push .22 fast, fwiw. Your other issue is having a barrel that will stabilize those little ice picks. FX doesn't have a barrel that'll do it, which is why I machined the Alfa Precision barrel fit my gun. .177 slug funds are an absolute hoot though!
