FX fx impact m4 first 10 shots are slow

LOL I'm just busting ya nuts; I could care less if it pings.
yea its 1:34 and I'm porting a set of cylinder heads cheers...
Yeah, even my Uragans have a plenum sound when I shoot them. But it’s not a ping like an unregulated gun. It’s slightly annoying. But not as annoying as having to do this with a new gun that costs $600 more.

Quick update from my side. I own a M4 sniper and had the same slow 10-15 first shots. importer in the Netherlands would not admit a problem with the gun.. and decided to take it apart en inspect the valve rod.
lot of black gunk in the valvetube end and related orings.
Polished the valve rod, new orings, polished hammer spring, hammer and hammer weight. Light coat of silicone oil on the orings and ballistol on the hammer weight and spring…
First shots perfect and small spread…

hello

so i have an issue regarding my M4 first 10 shots are lower fps by almost 80 fps
then the gun shoots normally to my tuned fps ( 915 ) looks like it’s commonly issue with many m4 users .
when the gun rests for couple hours i have to shoot almost 10 shots before it settles again
any one having same issue?
if yes what did u do ?
Yup that's exactly what happened to me and I called Utah air and they said the reg needs rebuild so here we go.......I been new to fx air gunning for 4 months now,own several pcp's and wanted to kill pigeon at 100yard,non of my 1,000$ pcp's will get the job done properly,so I bought an impact m4,first week got me in love with the gun, learned how to tune it and noticed that first shots were little slower,no biggie i thought,as the days passed and I keep shooting the worming shots kept growing in count and considerably slower,so I made the call to Utah they said rebuild your regulator here is the parts,so I did and did not fix the issue,so i came here, did resurch and someone said take valve assy off cleaned and polish you have a valve sticking issue,MAGIC. That was exactly right, inside my valve looks horrible machining marks and grease was causing sticking and therefore no consistency,i wonder if Utah knew this and opted to send reg parts to make $because when they heard slower shots to worm up know I know is my valve sticking and i am a rookie just starting so i wonder....anyways slower shots string to worming up i bet the house now that ifvi clean the valve and polish will be 100% back to half inch groups at 100yard with pellets 33 grain one shot 10 feet slower from the day before is what I accept and i got little better than that so i can't complain and ,there you have why and what will be the most likely scenario for that particular symptom.

When I had an m3 I tuned my max sweet spot velocity with the macro wheel set on 12-13. That way when I shot the gun cold I could put it on 16, giving it extra hammer strike to overcome the stiction. Wasn’t perfect but it did make the first slow shots not nearly as bad. Big design flaw of the platform that I don’t think will ever be addressed. With the length of the valve rod in the gun I’m not sure it’s even possible to eliminate for good.
Okay idea but no...not acceptable to have to change settings to get up just to go back down.....what a pain, when you have a 2k airgun that should be off the table, valve sticking issue that is 99%of slower shots when sitting over couple of hours or from the day before ,valve polishing is the trick boys and gals.
