FX FX Impact M4 MOST IMPORTANT CHANGES

In M3 if you unscrew the safety adjuster a bit, you can put it on safety even if the gun is not coked. My M3 works like that. But I prefer keeping the safety screw at such position that if the gun is uncoked, safety should not engage. It gives the signal that the gun is not coked. Otherwise one can forget if the gun is coked or not.
All this time and i never knew that. I lernt something new today.

Thank you

if the gun is cocked there is no tension on the cocking lever also, if the gun isn't cocked you can shake it up and down and the floating hammer will slide/rattle and sound like something is loose but when cocked it won't.

Congratulations on releasing of FX IMPACT M4 🥳

The most important changes as it appears to me are;

1. "better trigger"
2. "reverting to single regulator" (for non technical users),
3. "better pistol grip" and a
4. "stronger top rail" that will be helpful fixing POI shift issues.

Great 👍

I can tell you, the stock rifle is also more powerful than previous models, a little easier to work on, and the single regulator is of very high quality, mine has stood up to more abuse than it should have and if you upgrade the hammer weight so that it can handle the 170 bar regualtor setting, it makes very good use of the extra power. I have a .35 M4 extended and it's really an amazing piece.

Fair enough, what caliber do you suggest for new shooters? Was looking at .25 or .30. I feel like there is more versatility in either calibers.
I owned the .25 cal and shot the 34gr. JSBs very well, bucked the wind good too. I now have the M3 .22 600mm. Shoots the 18gr. JSBs around 900FPS and I get 200+ shots on a 250 bar fill on reg. Cheaper to shoot and more efficient on air. I guess it depends on what your using it for.

Doing some critter hunting, squirrel, mice, rabbit, etc.

.25 should be more than sufficient. As I said earlier the 33.95 JSBs tuned to about 910FPS shot extremely well in my .25 cal Impact. On calmer days I could hit shotgun shells out at 135 yards. Dime size groups at 50 yards is typical. Just be patient when learning to tune your gun, watch a lot of videos and make sure you fallow and understand the processes when adjusting things like as for instance degassing your gun when lowering reg pressure and never adjust the hammer spring while the gun is cocked ETC.

Copy that man, appreciate the advice! I’m glad a majority of people are helpful on this forum compared to gun forums lol.

Mine doesn't. What pain are storing at, at night? I love my M4. At first I wa unsure but it's grown on me big time. And it's literally grown.

Downside is my M4 “loses” over 100fps from the previous day. Takes 15 shots to get back to correct velocity again. Major pain
This is by far their biggest issue. But it’s solvable. Send it to UA under warranty and they fix it for you (they change valve house, valve rod and o rings). People are happy with the way they fix it and apparently it lasts, one user here reports more than 5000 shots after UA fixed it and still fine. Or have them send you the parts under warranty. Alternatively, you can get a modified valve tube holding to o rings in place. Or you wait for the fix Fx is “working on”, I’d guess you’ll wait a long time though ;)
