How can you do a decent review with out understanding the gun that's what I don't get
I always found that oddHe often comes to the forums for help. You'd think a man in his position would be educating us not us him, yet here we are. What a wonderful worrrrrld.

Hey guys. My new M4 was barely cocking and then about 20 shot in it stopped cocking all together. How would I fix that? Settings are as it came out of the box. Pictured below. Shooting 18.1 at 890 FPS. Not great groups at 38 yards with JSB and FX. Was about to try AEA but won't cock now. (also see mystery screw I found on Patio a few posts down).
Good detective work on your part, and super cool of you to share the solution…I had the same issue, and I wanted to tackle the problem myself. It looks like FX milled the magnet hole too deep in the reloading block and the top rail. The magnets have a small dab of super glue to retain them in place. Both of my magnets on the top rail came loose on the super glue, which then acted like a key tumbler to restrict the block from moving forward.
I reglued the magnets and applied epoxy to the tops of the magnets to fill the void, ensuring the magnets did not come back down within the void to restrict the movement.
Hopefully, FX will tighten its tolerances on these and send out replacement parts.

I hade a Vega. It was a good running car.Reminds Me of the Chevy Vega I built when I was way Younger. Small block Chevy conversion. It surprised a lot of People! I remember the Gremlin that had the 390 in it!
Same way a professional driver can review a new car and understand zero about an internal combustion engine. How can you do a decent review with out understanding the gun that's what I don't get
Yeah ok it would be nice if he had some clue on a gun as far as tuning goes so we could get an opinion that way as well but it is what it is. Heck he has said it himself he didn't like do the reviewsSame way a professional driver can review a new car and understand zero about an internal combustion engine.
Nate is an out of the box style reviewer, not the typical custom built production rifle type we get so much of. I think it is great having somebody that isnt trying to make excuses for all the big money vendors by "reviewing" high end pcps with thousands worth of custom parts. If you think you can do a better job and provide us all with better free reviews/info I invite you to make your own channel and record your own videos. Competition drives innovation.
I hear you. Its crazy to me that anyone would buy something with as much tunability like an Impact and choose not to learn how to tune. But there are many thousands of pcp shooters that have no desire to bother with tuning and want something that works for them out of the box. Thats one of the reasons there are so many good pcp tuning services available, and the market supports it.Yeah ok it would be nice if he had some clue on a gun as far as tuning goes so we could get an opinion that way as well but it is what it is. All the other perceived issues aside, I too, thought it refreshing to have Nate on occasion ask for help here on AGN. I believe it’s understood we “all” need help at one point or another…I hear you. When I was younger and had lots of time to learn and no money there is no way I could understand a person that would choose to do things that way. But now that I am older and slightly wiser; I realize there are lots of people that have super limited free time, and put more value on their time than the money it cost to send their pcp off for a tune. Point being the out of the box style reviewers are a needed aspect of the pcp market/industry. And nobody knows everything about any one topic. So I have hard time faulting a guy for not knowing everything there is to know about a brand new to market pcp and asking for help. This forum has some real big names in the air gun industry with countless years of experience building/shooting/tuning/customizing everything. It makes sense when Nate has a question to ask around here, and if you noticed the issue is still pending.

The magnets slip down into the lower area and restrict the entire assembly.I don't think it has to do with magnets he said the hammer wasn't cocking or staying cocked but I could be wrong won't be first or the last time
Sorry a little slow today I remember reading about the magnets falling inside after I read ur postThe magnets slip down into the lower area and restrict the entire assembly.
It could be another issue he's having, but from his photo, I'm assuming it's the same issue.
If the trigger mechanism weren't holding, the block would not stay open as the spring tension would overcome the magnets.
