Fx impact m4

Rough mockup but as soon as I can get my hands on some FX DRS airtubes this is a 7lb bullpup at 36" long capable of over 100ftlbs in .30 with less than 10 orings, a 28" TJ hammer forged barrel and capable of sub MOA at 100 yards with a good shot count for about half the price of an FX Impact. Would be shrouded with a 1/2x20 adapter for a suppressor.

Its hard to say what caliber is better long range because of the projectile possibility's. As far as economy the .22 is hard to beat, lots of ammo choices lower air consumption, more pellets per tin. I currently own a M3 .22 and it suits my purposes. The .25 is a perfect in between caliber and shoots the 33.95 pellets at distance extremely well. My first Impact was a .25 and I could hit shotgun shells out to 135 yards with the JSB 33.95s.

The around the house part says 22 imo, there is nothing that you cannot do with a 22, with all the different pellets and slugs that are available nowadays you’re not very limited at all to go with the 22 .
ammo will be cheaper and a much larger variety than the other calibers with the exception of 177! 90% of my hunting anymore is with 177 in an impact because with the addition of Slugs, they are lethal out to 200 yds on everything up to an including rock chucks and you get 2-300 shots per fill without sacrificing really anything at all. 25 cal, why? and 30 cal no way in hell unless you want to compete 👍🏻

In my opinion, I would say the 22 caliber. You can go all the way down to a sub. 12 foot-pounds of energy, if you add the first regulator in the gun. Or you can turn it up and shoot 40grs slugs. With the additions of the slug power kit and a tungsten hammer. I have the M3 impact and my current setup is, 34 grain .218" H&N heavy slugs, a 700 mm, 1 in 16 twist liner. Slug power kit and tungsten hammer. The tune is. First regulator bypass, second regulator is set at a 169 bar, macro wheel on 10 micro. Wheel measures out to .138" and the hammer valve is set at .435".
The velocities are 1028 feet per second. With an extreme spread of 6 feet.

Have a question if you was going to buy a new fx impact m4 would you get a .22 .25 or .30? And why? I'm won'ting one to shoot around the house and shoot some long range and hunt some with
I'm looking to get one as well hopefully soon and I'm thinking I'm going to get the 25 Cal sniper and add a 30 cal barrel kit 🤘

I got the M4 in .22, copper and 500mm (compact) I too wanted something to shoot around the house and you can find .22 pellets at Walmart and other places while higher calibers are a bit tougher. I also wanted it n compact so it was easier to haul around and you can easily upgrade to a longer barrel and even a higher caliber if you decide you want to. I found that my moderator was causing a POI shift so off it came and now I am shooting quite consistent. I am also getting about 4 mags per fill with the .22 which is almost 120 rounds.

I'm using the donny fatboy that comes with changeable caliber parts (.177-.30) on my .22 Wildcat compact. I started with the .22 insert but changed it to the .25 insert because of poi shifts. All is well now.
