FX Impact pellet drop.

"GQ"Davecole thank you.
I know those programs but they are not enough precise for my taste.
And depending what airgun or rifle you shoot, the ballistic can be quite different.

If you need a precise data you will not get a precise answer from anyone else (for these same reasons you outlined above) unless you plug in your own parameters/data into Chairgun.

I might be able to get some data for you this weekend. I have mine sighted in for 45 yards from the silhoutte shooting. I can make a few adjustments for 50 and 100. I had all that info but I changed scope mounts to a lower mount and I erased all my notes just a couple of days ago. I might go out and shoot tonight if it isn't windy. If I remember right it was almost a full turn on the dial for 100 yards. If you have that Hawke calculator setup right it gets you within 1 to 2 MOA. I used it and liked it.

"GQ"Exactly and that is why the hawke app cannot be very accurate in my own opinion.
Airgun ballistics are not related to any specific weapon, in my limited knowledge. A projectile with a specific ballistic coefficient, traveling at a certain feet per second, using a particular weight will shoot exactly the same regardless of what platform propels it. Again, in my opinion. Maybe someone will educate me differently.

It's windy right now but I went out and checked the velocity since I haven't done that after adjusting out the slop in my adjustment knob on the side. My velocity is 870 FPS with a JSB 44.75. (The knob doesn't have slop the bar it controls does not sit against the cam on the knob at max power. It can be adjusted to just very lightly touch the cam.) this is the only adjustment I have made on this gun)

Ok here I go. I zeroed at 50 yards. I moved out to 100 yards. I cranked up 52 clicks 1/4 MOA. shot high. ended up at 47 clicks. I had problems with some west to east breeze and big temp change. The sun went down over the mountains. I live at 5200 feet when the sun goes down we lose heat like a light turning off. My pellet drop was 11.75 inches so I adjusted my ballistic Coefficient to .0517 for the 44.75 grain JSB. this is just a start tweaking the Hawke calculator. Once I changed the Ballistic Coefficient the number of clicks was with in 3 clicks. The problem is I only got 4 shots that were in 1.125 center to center. The wind temp change was giving me a challenge.
870 FPS
Her are some pics.
By the way The yellow line is where my son and I shot 2 elk this winter. He was laying to the right and this was his first big game hunt. He dropped it one shot 400 yards up the hill. I shot another one 10 minutes later 50 yards around the other side 300 yards. We were done hunting in 2 hours. This is just down the street from my house.

yellow line is my sons shot.
Red mark is 100 yrds

100 yards target yellow line 1.125 c to c dark area is 2.6 diameter
