I debugged many times and I found that the gap remained. what reason? is this normal?

Is there air in the gun? And does the barrel slide nicely in and out with air in the gun?

I was having a time even finding the power plenum kit to purchase anywhere right away. But Precision Airguns and Supplies in Michigan have them ready to roll out the door for $175.
