FX Impact Regulator dumping air question

When I remove the bottle by unscrewing it from the gun with about 250 bar some times the gun will dump the air which is behind the regulator side of the gun at the same time. I understand its normal for a small bit of air to escape when the bottle is remove.
This morning when I remove the bottle from the gun the regulator was holding air behind the regulator side then about 10 minutes later the regulator dump all the air out while the gun was on its bipod without the bottle attached. Anyone had this happen to them? Is this normal?

Jack, I just got my new Impact a few hours ago from AOA so this is all NEW to me. I had them keep it longer to do some additional checking. After opening, the bottle came pressurized to 240 bar and I believe the regulator pressure was at zero. Don't know if they mailed it that way. Assembled the regulator pressurized to 150 bar with the power wheel set to Max. I've shot it maybe 5 times in the garage and so far everything looks and works flawlessly.

Since reading your query, I removed the bottle with just a wisp of air loss from the bottle loosening. The regulator is at 149 bar now and holding. I'll leave the bottle off overnight and see if there is a loss and post back, but it sounds like your losses are episodic as opposed to a slow leak. Did AOA replace any of your O-rings when you had in last?

Thanks Scott! Important to know. A moot point now, my regulator pressure is holding after the bottle removal last night. Additionally, I went ahead and topped off the gun bottle this morning and subsequently disconnected the bottle again. No pressure regulator change seen as of this writing.

It's early, but I am LOVING this gun so far! The the potential and possibilities are endless!
