FX FX Impact sniper M3 700mm .22 with heavy liner

Hello! Can I ask you please which is the “A liner”? Thank you.

It is one of the first slug liners they came out with.

That is pretty shocking to me if the micro is set at 4.75. That is almost maxed out if memory serves me correctly. At 110 bar with the MICRO adjuster at 4.75 you should be smashing that valve so overly hard it isn’t funny

I don't know if it is possible that the new heavy liner that I installed is slowing down the slugs. So far I tested only .217s. I can get some .216 to check if there's any difference. I'm not lubing my slugs.

Thanks for sharing this. What speed are you registering for those, do you have a stock superior liner? Have you done any mods to your rifle? What grouping are you getting at 100m?

I don’t have any experience with .22 in 700 mm. That does make a difference. Could be normal

Today I increased the pressure in the second regulator to 130. I hope that this will help to tighten those groups at 100m with the JSBs.

Just slug probe and slug port. Shooting 34 gr. 850-870 and 29 slugs 912-920 sweet spot for my compact. Not max out. Sometimes will bump up to 930 on slugs. shooting 3.5 steel disc at 100 yds. Of course UR 22 with longer barrel will have faster FPS So mine will be totally different.

Thank you for sharing these numbers. This is similar to what I'm registering with the JSBs 25.39 gr, but I'm struggling with the group size at 100m (109yds). It is possible that the lenght of your barrel is helping you in this case to tighten your groups at 100yds. I would be interested to know the diameter of your groups at that distance.

Valve adjustment to tighten groups... Photos 52 yds & 77 yds. 30mm 500mm barrel. Shoot mostly Prairie Dogs 30-120 yds..

Adjusting the 2nd regulator to 130bar had actually the opposite effect on the JSB's velocity. I noticed a slight drop. Macro wheel on 16 and micro on 4.5. Is interesting that my FX Panthera 700mm 25 cal is pushing H&N slug HP 32gr at more than 1000FPS. The Panthera also has a superior heavy liner (stock). I have macro on 17 and micro on 2 on the Panthera. The Panthera can go all the way to 26 on the macro.
