FX Impact vs. X Hammers

Does anyone know if the hammers are the same across the 3 generations of Impacts?

I've also read that some other FX models share the same hammer, but haven't been able to verify if they're the same specs with the current generations.

The answer is in the free parts diagrams provided by FX. http://www.fxairguns.com/support/ The short answer is yes, they all share the same hammer.

If they were different the parts diagram would specify. You can compare part numbers between models for compatibility. Right click and open in a new tab to compare.

@heavy-impact thanks for pointing that out. 

I finally got a look at the hammer in my X tonight. Almost immediately, I remembered a couple of spare parts that I still had laying around that I hadn't installed in my M3 before I sold it. The diameter is about .02" larger, and weighs 39grams in its current state (slightly longer than the Impact hammer)..

There might be something there!
