Howdy all. Impact X with power plenum. I have a slow leak that goes down about 10psi in 24 hours. I used leak detectors several times but was still unable to find any leaks. Today I removed the bottle and after less than a minute all the air rushed out the gun from the front valve where the bottle connects.
Reg pressure is set to 100 bar
Bottle pressure was 210 Bar before removal. Gauge stayed the same after removed and then the gun emptied to zero after about 1 min.
I want to know if this is normal as I cannot remember this happening before when I used to adjust reg pressure etc. I am going crazy trying to figure out what's the issue.
I had rebuilt the regulator about 2 years ago and had no issues since then. (had a visible leak from reg at that time).
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry but how does one actually measure that 10psi in 24 hours? That's 0,7 bar.

If you are confident with disassembly and reassembly, then I would dunk it in the tub and see where the leak is. I had a hard to find one once and it ended up being one of my digital pressure gauges. It was leaking out of a charging port on tge front of the gauge.
Can you actually do this? I would figure that the water intrusion can harm the gun.

Hmm! sorry, it was 10 bars. My mistake.
I would think X being almost identical to any and every Impact. There are a few small insignificant looking holes around the block? Are You sure nothing is coming out? My Gen 1 lost the O-ring around the regulator on the block and I remember there being a corresponding hole to that. I suppose X is not that much more modern so all O-rings are at the end of their life span.

You will find the leak eventually. This is what PCP is.

The impact is the gun with the most o rings of all pcp. Also it have some of the smallest o rings too. So leak can be anywhere. Since we dont have your gun in person we can not help to tell you where to leak is. Cause there is no 1 or 2 places where it can leak. There are like 10 or more places where it can leak.
Just some place to check.
-Check around the reg
-check bleed hole
-adapter between the bottle and also by the receiver
-check both gauges and around it
-check small hole next to bottle adapter
-check small hole where grip
-check both sides of the power plenum
-check if leaking from barrel
-check end valve where you insert mag
There are just some places it can leak from. There may be other places too.

I've done it. Dissassembled, dried, and reassembled when done. Water shouldn't intrude anything, other than end up on all the mechanical parts. As long as there is pressure in the tank, it won't intrude that either.

I wouldn't dunk it and leave it without cleaning everything up. Water won't harm most parts like those that are made of aluminum or stainless, but could cause rust on any basic steel parts. Hence why I say clean everything up afterwards. This is simply what I do when I am at whits end trying to find a leak.
