Ok tried these things this afternoon, pushed pellets through bore from brass breech to end of muzzle “Clean barrel” pellets look great no deformities (Within reason) no lead chamfered off land depressions on pellet or skirt, transfer port is free of burrs inspected with barrel out, also passed the q-tip lint test! I really think it’s a overly tight choke? That’s where the lead is concentrated! I believe the diffuser ports at end of shroud are directing the lead dust and vapor back through shroud and depositing it on the barrel sleeve just like it’s supposed to, like Michael referred to in his earlier post, (otherwise the shroud wouldn’t do anything!) I just couldn’t see those elongated ports until I really looked for them! Now onto accuracy issues? That will come after the holidays, Thanks to all your input guy’s Saved me tons of time and gained much knowledge of this rifle! One last comment “I now know how to index the moderater so Donny fl is in right position to read it!” It wasn’t from factory...
