FX INDY .25

Hey Guys,

After years of wanting this gun or the like, I finally found one brand new. I tried to give my money to a few nameless Vendors to see if they would locate me one and they all said unavailable, sold out, no deal, etc... I called FX USA myself about a month ago and spoke to the guy on the phone and he put me on hold and came back with good news. He said I have the last one here in the USA in .25. I asked him twice and he said I just touched the box and opened it up. It's available!!!! I finally called Ken Hicks at SPAW and he confirmed as well. I was a little nervous about buying this gun but decided to just go for it. Ken had Ernest go through the whole gun and keep it there for over a week to make sure the seals were good and holding air properly. They shipped it to Ken and he did the same as well as a trigger job, tune, and barrel clean etc.... Ken went above and beyond and I couldn't be happier. I have not shot it yet. It feels way lighter than it's actual weight!!!! I will be pairing it with a bushnell forge 2.5x15x50 FFP. According to Ken, It gets 5-6 shots at full power and takes 25 pumps to fill her up from empty. It's tuned with JSB hades and King Diablos between 867 and 887 FPS. I'll give more details once I scope it and get myself familiar with the gun.

Thanks for the kind words!!! I read your post about your gun and it was influential in my decision. I really didn't want to go the compressor route and wanted something that was going to be back yard friendly, accurate, powerful, and bull pup in nature. The gun shoulders so well!!! I am really surprised how light it feels. This was not what I was expecting when I picked it up. Ken was shooting pellet on pellet at 30 yards I believe. He liked it so much he's thinking of buying one in .22. He was really impressed. He shot and tested a variety of pellets and said the hades and the Diablos were awesome and can be switched back and forth without having to do anything. Can't wait to start shooting!!!!!

I am now on the hunting for a scope. I put the bushnell forge 2.5x15x50 on it but I had a really hard time trying to find the sweet spot for the eye relief. It was really fussy for me. I also felt it was too heavy. I just sent it back and may try the athlon Midas tac 4x14x44 FFP. I wanted to buy the arken but there's a 8 week delivery schedule due to problems with shipping from China. I love the idea of the Leopold freedom EFR 3x9 because of the size and weight. Decisions Decisions!!!!!!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give a follow up after living with the Indy for a few weeks. So far this thing has exceeded my expectations in every category. It's holding air like a champ and is way more accurate than I can ever shoot. It's putting a smackdown on squirrels with the jsb hades with no pass through. Over 3 dozen squirrels and 3 raccoons . The raccoons were actually shot in day light so it made my decision very easy to rid them and cause any harm to other animals or people. It was very strange that 3 of them were around my yard the same day in the same spot. I've never seen more than 1 raccoon in the daytime in the same day even. I'm getting 5-6 shots at full power and then need to pump about 35 times to get back to 220 bar or I can pump 2-3 times and maintain full power. My only complain is its a tad heavy but I can live with it. I love this thing!!!!!!!!
