Fx indy aroow

The Indy and Independence are based on the same platform. I have an Independence that had I converted to an arrow shooter.
The pumps should be the same as whatever caliber you buy it in. So... say .22 cal is 3 pumps per shot. It would be 3 shots per shot as well.
If .25 is 4-5 pumps per shot, then 4-5 per shot as well. The mechanics of the rifle stay the same unless you adjust the power wheel.
I have not shot my independence as an arrow shooter. But, I also have a Verminator Extreme in .22 that you might give you an idea about what to expect. They're both based on the Royale platform and use the same length arrow barrel. It's shooting the 18g JSB's a little hot at ~920fps. With the arrow barrel installed, it will shoot the 300g arrows at ~268fps giving 47.54fpe.
IMO, the accuracy is amazing! Standing with a tall rest, I am afraid of splitting arrows at anything less than 40 yards. Even at 50 yards, I won't shoot at the same target twice!
I don't recall if they are regulated but, I think they are. Best to check with AoA or see if it says it on the website.
As far as pumping goes, I do not find it very difficult. There's a sweet spot that you grab, just underneath the knob at the end of the pump handle. The Independence has a sweet spot at the same location. This allows you to pump it up like a bird flapping its wings (or the chicken dance!).
With either rifle, the pump takes up a heck of a lot of space. So, you should get around 8 shots (22 cal) out of the air chamber from full before needing to pump. Probably ~5 shots in .25 and ~2 shots in .30.
I don't know what the arrows fps difference would be if you compared a .22 to a .25 to a .30. But, Ive always been curious. :)
Hope that helps!
