I recently purchased the FX King in 30 caliber. I also have a Crown in 25 caliber. It is light, easy to manuver and easy to carry. I purchased the King for extended ranges for woodchucks. I have taken woodchucks out to 75 yards with the 25, but the 30 is really the ticked for shooting these critters when the distance exceeds 75 yards. It really hammers them, and the report is awsome. But...The King is heavy, long, combersome to walk with, and I just can't find an easy way to carry it easily. I even bought the Saber Chassis for it basically to mount it to a tripod.
I am considerating replacing it with the Crown in 30 caliber which I see that Utah Airguns have in stock. I'll have to do some checking to see if I am losing too much energy by going that route. On my King I am shooting the Zan slugs, 59 grains at 920 FPS. I'm pretty sure that I can't achieve that with the Crown, but if I can stay close I may opt for it.
I really like the King, but for those of you who have one, they are not the easiest rifles to carry.
Like to know your thoughts, and thank you all!!
