The ST chassis is really for competitive shooting so I am not really a fan I think the new sythentic stock is much more practical I have some for my Crowns. I think it makes more sense for this rifle than the GRS one so much so I may get a King now. Also adding a $700 ST chassis to $2,400 gun never made much sense to me unless you serious about trying to win some money which is not meMust have missed it thanks for letting me know
I think you would find some that would do ok. Lighter weight slugs. I believe the 500 has the latest standard (non heavy) fx liner in it. Seems .22 caliber would be the best choice for shooting slugs out of the 500 mm gun.How will would slugs shoot out of the 500mm generally speaking?
Me too.Ready for me to get hated on by purists for just one simple sentence? OK then:
I would rather have this synthetic stock version than the GRS wood stock version.
my thoughts exactly....how do I get an arca on the bottom of that for my tripod???Let me guess, still no provisions for a rail underneath. They could had easily molded in inserts on the forend. Looks like they want you to keep buying bottle clamps...
You would need to drill and then epoxy in some 1/4-20 t-nuts.my thoughts exactly....how do I get an arca on the bottom of that for my tripod???
some guns werent designed to shoot off a bipod I'd guess, A bean bag maybe or leaning against a tree. It's not my first choice for a bench gun.my thoughts exactly....how do I get an arca on the bottom of that for my tripod???
