Judging by the power estimates of the 500: 5,5 (.22) up to 70 ft/lbs with 34gr slug at 960 fps

Faster than you or anyone wants. I'd guess 12-1300fps. You really do not want much more than 950 if even that.

If you want accuracy the rule of thumb is somewhere between 820 - 910 fps or thereabouts.
