Fx Leshiy 2 conversion questions

I currently have a new Leshiy 2 that I am building/tinkering with. This is number 4. Most of them I’ve ended up switching to fx barrels with a Donny Fl adapter.

I have done the transfer port removal process a few times and have watched Ernest video. However, when I removed this transfer port the whole thing came out rather than just the end leaving the silver threads behind. My question is did I just wreck my barrel or is there a part/adapter I can screw in that I can attach the Donny adapter to ? Pictures are attached to make sense of what I’m talking about.

I can't answer you question, but noticed the brass thimble is chewed up. Perhaps a bit more finesse will help.

If you are not reusing the thimble then it should not be shown in the context of your conversion.

2023 and newer FX brass thimbles are one piece, Huma sells the adapter. I learned this one the hard way last week.
