I am looking to order a M3 soon. My question is, what is the difference in performance between the 600mm and the 700mm bbl. I won't be shooting much farther then 200 yds. Will the 600mm be fine for that?

200 yards is a looong way for an air rifle. The longer barrel is going to be your friend. It should give you a bit more power and/or efficiency.

I would agree for longer distances like that the 700mm would be better. If it were only 100 yards that would be a different story.

As I understand it, the M3, with the 700mm "sniper" barrel option, includes other upgrades to the rifle, over the 600mm. Check this out with FX or your dealer, to verify. If my understanding is correct, you may want these upgrades now rather than having to add them later.

Jesus you ever shot the Impact series?? Lol. Ive hit 200 yards easy with a .25 or .30 cal over and over. 2 inch groups at max.
But for 200 yards probably want that 700mm sniper set up.

I agree 200 yds is a long way with a air rifle, but my Crown will shoot one hole groups at fifty all day, I like the challenge of the distance to keep it interesting. I think the 700mm is the way I will go. I appreciate all the input.
