Fx m4 .35 cal shooting 93 grain slugs@ 946fps

Well everyone, Huma is worth every penny. My fx has been reaching almost 950 fps, with great accuracy at 50 yards. I don't know how much higher you could push this thing but so far my results have been awesome.

How's the bark on that thing? That's some good power. 700mm barrel?

Sweet!

I would assume they dont shoot that well given that pellets fall in the 78-81gr range.
When I first got the M4 .35, honestly out of the box all I had was pellets and I was really disappointed I even thought the gun was junk, then I bought some slugs....the M4 .35 800mm barrel at least in my experience does NOT like pellets. One second you'll have a dead bullseye and the next shot can be 6+ inches out for no reason.... Mine is a slug animal

A bit confusing. In your experience, it does not like slugs, yet this one does? You bought several barrels and found one that shoots slugs well at 50y? If so, that’s not much of an endorsement…

Nope it loves slugs. I bought zero barrels. What I did do is buy the V2 Huma tuning kit and hammer weight. And the Huma extra high pressure regulator. So far, I don't see much of a difference between stock reg and Huma. But the V2 tuning kit is very impressive. I have not taken it out to 100 yards yet. The stock barrel is great in my opinion but this is not a pellet rifle. I would say slugs only if you want to have confidence.

However one thing the huma reg will give you is very very little fluctuation between fps in shots. It is very stable that way. But honestly I believe I can get higher fps with the fx regulator. And the Huma is also extremely hard to adjust without taking out your trigger group and that is very very annoying. My Huma at @ 170 bar gives 925 fps where my stock reg is at almost 150. So you trade a measurable fps for very stable numbers..... All in all though this an extremely rewarding and fun rifle to use. Extremely customizable and of you need to tear the whole rifle down, with only minimum patience, it can fairly easily be done. I wish I possessed more of the above mentioned patience.

You stated earlier that the “...the M4 .35 800mm barrel at least in my experience does NOT like slugs. ”. So I’m asking what that experience is based on.

This should say does not like pellets I apologize. And that is just the experience with my own gun.
