So awaiting my m4
I was wondering about the twist on the 600mm .25 barrel
So for the hell of it I went on pyramids site asked a cust service rep he said. 25 600mm
Comes with the slug barrel 1/16 twist
Does it really?

i thought it would be strange myself to come with a slug liner even though pyramid cust rep said it did.
i also noticed the slug liners went from 1/18 to 1/16 now back to 1/18 is this correct.?
FX now sells 3 versions of their STX Superior series. In 25Cal the Standard is 1:24, the Heavy is 1:18, and the Slug is 1:16. Confusing I know, but nice to have so many options.

FX started selling certain model variations in certain markets with the faster twist liners; but I think that is mostly in the 700mm/800mm versions.

id like to get the 1/16 hard to find

how do you like the slug liner?
I don't have the slug liner, just the Superior Liner that came with it. I do have a .22 Slug Liner (1:16 twist) in my DRS and have not really seen any difference in how it shoots slugs or pellets. If I were to get any of the current liners, I'd probably go with the Heavy liner since it seems to be a compromise of the two.

Yeah sometimes getting certain parts can make you wait around for a while. I dont know that FX makes the 1:16 version in 600mm, and the Heavy 1:18 version has pretty limited availability. I think they do the less popular parts in small batches, all their 177 stuff is always out of stock too.
They do, the .22 600mm slug liner I have in my DRS is 1:16 twist. That same liner will fit my .22 Impact barrel. You just have to be sure you select the "Slug Liner" to get the 1:16 TR. From what I've read, the Superior Liner is 1:24 TR, the Heavy Liner is 1:18 TR and the Slug Liner is 1:16 TR.

I just checked at Trenier Airguns, it looks like Jeff has the 600mm 1:16 slug liner in .25 in stock.
