I'm a new member, retired and living in Britsh Columbia. Here in Canada we only have one dealer for FX airguns and after a long wait I finally have a FX M4 sniper 700 mm 22 cal being shipped to me tomorrow. I already have a Weihrauch HW 100 which I like but the FX is one I have lusted after for a while. I already have a selection of pellets and slugs to try out and it will be topped with a Weaver T-36 scope but unfortunately no moderator as they are illegal here.. It will mainly be used for target shooting till I get to know a few farmers in the area I now live and a small island one of my daughters and her family live which have a few racoons and coyotes that like to bother her chickens.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new M4. Tobad about the moderator law but you should be able to set you gun up to shoot reasonable quiet if you dont try to over power it. I own the M3 600mm in .22 and have the 2nd reg set at just over 70bar. I get 7 mags on a 250 bar fill shooting the 18gr pellets at +-900fps. Though I do have a factory moderator on it all you hear is the click of the hammer spring. Have fun brother and God Bless the Canadian truckers!

You are correct. The PAL is a Possession and Aquisition License and is required for air rifles 500 fps and over.

Welcome, as soon as you become our 51st state you can get a Moderator so hang tight. In the mean time enjoy the Rabbit Hole®. Oh try AEA pellets and slugs with it if you can get enough speed.

Oh boy don't I wish! The liberal party has gone full retard here banning firearms. They just added another 340+ rifles to the list including over 20 .22 cal rifles classing them as assault rifles.

Finally arrived today just have to decide which scope to mount, a Weaver T-36 or a Vortex Diamondback 6-24X50.
