If I opted not to fiddle, all the Impacts I ever owned would have been sold in short order. Even the one that was a pellet gun, and stellar as such, required a blueprint before the first pellet was sent down range. The guns may have been good enough for some, but they were not at their best without fiddling, tools and some machining involved.I like my M2. Never had an issue. I still own your M3 .22 compact. It took a good bit of work for me to trust it as my hunting gun. Don’t confuse hunting gun with pesting gun. I need the gun to be on point all the time because I’m hunting game animals. The M4 didn’t fix or change anything that helps in that category. You’re still getting the M3 weaknesses with a M4. You should look at completely different manufacturers for rock solid hunting guns. Unless you like working on guns.
