FX magazine options for slugs?

Happy Memorial Day,

I’ve been having issues with the factory FX Impact .30 cal magazine with heavy slugs. The overall length is okay, but the spring isn’t strong enough to cycle more than 5 to 10 heavy slugs through the feed gear.

Is there an aftermarket heavier spring, or is there an aftermarket magazine that addresses the feeding issues with heavy slugs with the FX Impact M3?

Check out the Orion The Iguana Hunter magazine insert. I use the .25 cal version with heavier slugs and its been perfect so far.

How heavy. I have no problem. But I have 5 second between shots. I don't know anyways.. must be really heavy slugs. I do notice a little strain on the spring. What speed and slug you shooting.just curious about your tune an groups..

Or just adjust the spring on your current mag first. See if that works before spending more money. If that doesn’t work, I highly recommend Orion mags!

I bought two Orion mags for my RTI Prophet, but while they work fine for pellets they don't work with fairly short slugs. The factory RTI mags work very well with short slugs because they have individual channels to hold the slugs in place even if they are very short.
