I have a maverick.25, 700mm superior heavy, w tungsten hammer and pellet probe opened up with a chainsaw file. Second reg at 150 doing 1040 fps with nsa 34.9’s. I enjoy cutting weeds off at 50 yds and “napping” opossums at 150.

Was rocking a 14g hammer but trying the 13g now. 160/125 50 shots. 62-67fpe
NSA 33.2gr are 65fpe 938fps
HN 30gr pellets avg 979fps
JSB 25 Kings 1025 on PW7

On 175/145 got 2 magazines at 72fpe Didn't need that power when 65 will do for small critters.

Just curious if anyone uses the pellet transfer port? I switched to it for the heck of it in my 25 compact and it went from 900 to 715 fps with 25.39. I mean I guess if you need super low power but to me at least in the compact form that port is useless.

Maybe there are other pro's of using the pellet port besides a low power tune, not sure? I also use the slug port with my tunes.
With my 480cc bottle and 600mm barrel I get a solid 75-80 shots at 50fpe before falling under reg pressure.
Cranked up to 65fpe with 34g pellets I get 50-55 shots.

.25 Maverick VP first reg 160 second reg 135 shooting 33.95 at 932 fps power wheel on 4. Use power wheel on 7 to shoot slugs.
