Fx maverick 30 cal reg setting

New to pcp and purchased an FX Maverick 30 cal sniper which I’m setting up to shoot slug. What regulator setting are you using and slug’s recommendation?

170 on the first reg, 140 on the second reg, 7 on the power wheel, IHS backed out 6 turns out from full stop.

NSA 49.5gr slugs shoot about 940fps.

I normally use the Notos or the JTS MAX for starlings but both were empty today since all the fledglings are covering the trees and so I grabbed the Mav and the 49.5gr cut the bird in half.

If I was adjusting my regs and I turned the one all the way up to see where the front one was set so I turned it up a lil and took bottle off and it took like 8 shots to empty regs and plenum why is that

does the mav shoot slugs with stock barrel? or are you getting a liner?
