FX Fx maverick grub and adjust screw problem.

I feel the same too i'm almost dead sure that this problem is caused by the hammer spring micro adjust screw
Was re reading this thread and realized I hadn’t checked the micro adjust screw’s grub “tightener”.
I finally took apart the power wheel system and checked the grub screw on the micro adjust screw. The function is to put some resistance on the micro adjust screw to prevent/reduce “slippage” or changing of the micro adjust screw setting.
Guess what? It was loose! I tightened the grub screw but haven’t loctited it(yet).

I’ll check to see if this helps the shot-to-shot variability and get back!

I've had the same problem. The grub screw pushes a Delrin 'plug' into the main micro-hammer-spring adjusting screw, in order to hold the latter in place. Recently had a buddy make me a new Delrin plug as the old one seemed to be squished and no longer working. I'm hoping that helps keeps my tune steady.

I took all that out and put in a High pressure pneumatics quick tune kit in. Lose the micro adjuster the power wheel and little bearing. Slips right in it's a micrometer more precise than you can ever achieve with the fx parts. It''s more like an M3 even easier to tune.Changed to a 14g hammer very tight shot groups. You can find a video on you tube
