Tuning FX Maverick Sniper to Compact

Morning all,



looking at putting a 500mm barrel kit on my FX Maverick (currently 700mm)

Has anyone had any experience doing this before, from my guessing it’s straight forward, but the moderator can’t be over a certain size as will clash with the bottle.

Does anyone know the diameter of the FX shroud?

I used a koi on my impact it is pretty close to same size of the impact shroud cleared the 480 and 580 bottles

From experience the shorter barrel will accept on 1.22 inch diameter silencers such as the Odb, DonnyFL KOI, and Tanto,and Huggett Sniper. The DonnyFl FX version is 1.36 diameter is a no go.

I don't believe you can use your air tank on the compact. I have a compact and tried impact bottle won't clear the moderator. BUT

I guess you could screw end cap on barrel.

As stated above you have to change it to a koi or a few others that are same size as the shroud I've used a 480 on my compact impact don't see how the Maverick would be any different still needs clearance from the shroud so staying the same size as the shroud should buy you the clearance needed
