why do airgun makers need to be so mysterious and dramatically over the top with their roll-outs?

Way to go FX!! Bringing out a new gun and you cannot even deliver enough M4’s to keep UA somewhat supplied.
OH! And we are all still waiting for the Halo that we have been promised are shipping. Remember the picture of the crates that were ready to be shipped.
No thanks. Burned out on air gun releases. Very few in my short years have proven worthy of the hype and build up.
Besides at the end of the day do they do anything that the new guns from 3-4 years didn’t do? Remember the gun’s one and only job is to deliver a low power projectile precisely on target. All the rest is snake oil and glitter.
