I have an FX Panthera 700 in .22. And I started to participate in NRL22 and PRS. I had some challenges with freezing weather here in Canada with -8 C. The AMP regulator got stuck at dropping at 8 bar from the set point and not regulating again after the next shot. Did the polishing of all components and dry lube the Belleville washers, but no improvement with the freezing weather. Once back in the shop with warmth, no problem. But a slight creep. I think that the indent in the X3-2 19696 Regulator piston caused this. So, I needed an upgrade and put in the Huma regulator. Installed the Huma and tried it again, shooting in freezing weather. But guess what? Again, the setpoint is regulating slowly from 8 to 9 bar up. I must admit that the Huma is better than the AMP when it is warm in the shop. But the regulator piston of the AMP regulator was worn....
So the question is, has anyone seen this before during freezing weather, where the regulator is slow or hesitant to regulate?
