Hi,
What's the proper way to degassing the tank while it's attached to the system?
I read that upping the reg while under pressure is safe but dialing it down under pressure is not safe, is that true to older models only or what?
Please help

I believe on all FX guns you must degass to lower the reg pressure.

You need this to degass the bottle. You can remove FX tanks from the gun under pressure if you are just wanting to degass the gun. Unscrew the tank then dry fire the plenum down. FX bottle valves will allow you to take the tank off with pressure in it.

I did and was unable to understand how they unscrew bottles at high pressure just like that but now now I understand.

Not that I am aware of. There are ways of degassing a bottle on the gun but I am not going to tell you how because you can get hurt if you do it wrong. Watch the master class videos.

You mean the repetitive connecting and disconnecting of the tank?
Each time I may loose 50bar

I watched it on a disassembly video but wanted to ask anyways for safety.

I need to degas the bottle for other reasons.

I didnt get that from the post since you were asking about adjusting the reg down and not being able to do it under pressure. It sounds like thats what you are wanting to do. Is the valve on the bottle leaking?

I guess I am puzzled why you would need to degass a bottle thats not leaking. I am sure you have your reasons I just dont know what it would be

May be upgrading a tank ? Or may be you overfilled it to 310 bar or so ? Etc
