FX FX Panthera plenum return valve

Hello, I have recently purchased an FX Panthera, but when I removed the Bottle all of the air escaped from the Rifle inlcuding the Plenum, is this normal behaviour or should the Plenum retain presure?
I have watched a number of Video's and all of them warn that although you have removed the Bottle the Plenum retain preasure.

Can I ask if all other Panthera's behave this way?

Funny you should say that, the plenum pressure was lower than it was set too?

i recently got one as well, and despite earnest rowe being quite earnest that you could safely remove the bottle under pressure, i was nervous as hell. however, mine came off as expected, then i had to bleed the plenum out via the reg screw.

This seams to be the answer if your at full preasure on the plenum it will hold the presure but if your low against the set presure it will vent all the air, actually makes sense when you think about it, shouldn't be a problem if always filling through the port on the side.

If the regulator does not hold the set pressure after removing the cylinder then the problem is in the regulator i.e. defective o-rings. So the easiest way to do this is to replace all the o-rings. And then test. Pressurize the entire air rifle to full pressure, let it sit for about 10 minutes, disconnect the bottle. After that, it's best to let it sit for at least 24 hours. The airgun itself should hold plenum pressure for several months.
