Picked up some pellets on sale awhile back. .25 cal 26.6 grains FX brand “Atomic”, opened em up and they appear to be rebadged Hades pellets. I have no opinion on them either way just testing different weights etc to see what the gun likes etc. Just an FYI.

Indeed they are Hades just with the FX flavor, which are pretty much just the name and sticker on the tin, still a JSB product like all other FX pellets as far as i know

Exactly. I do find the FX rebranded to be a bit more consistent. My first go to when ordering is the FX branded, if they are out of stock I just order the JSB's.

I shoot the 22 Atomics exclusively out of my primary Critter Gitter. Have been since they came out a year or two ago now. They replaced the Hades which I shot exclusively out of that gun for a couple years prior. Compared to the Hades they are noticeably cleaner and less damaged skirts. Haven't noticed any performance difference at all in my guns, and I did test quite a bit for that. Oh, and they are significantly cheaper than the Hades. It's a no brainer for me. I have 15,000 stock piled. Surprised that more people haven't switched over to them by now.

What caught my interest (aside from the sale) was the tin of 300 pellets. It gets annoying trying to buy .25 cal in bulk when all you can find are the little tins of 150-200. That’s half the reason I ordered a Taipan Veteran 2 Tactical (700mm, synthetic) in .22 cal -it’s just easier to find bulk options for shooting on the cheap

According to several of the usual content creator types in the industry, Atomics are the same dies as the Hades. But FX has a contract worked out with JSB to get the first so many batches off fresh dies. So in theory they should be more consistently manufactured. Not sure why they are cheaper than the JSB, but I love them and started only buying Atomics for hunting and even plinking now.

They appear to be nice quality consistent and minimal skirt damage, so I was pretty impressed. Haven’t shot any yet, but no doubt they’ll do well
