FX pellets

I picked up my fx pellets off the floor the first and last time, my empty working hands container now holds these pellets, label transferred easily, now has screw on top.

Had to look up what a working hands container was. Very nice. Someone on the forum a few years ago recommended these "Really Useful Box" containers linked below when they were on sale. The 0.3 Litre one holds my .177 tin and 5 magazines perfectly for me to transport to the bench. I assume moving to larger calibers may require larger containers to hold larger diameter tins since the .177 tin barely fits flat.

The trick to finding them at the lowest price once you find the size you want is to notice the size is spelled: Litre (e.g. search term would be "really useful 0.3 litre").

They are rebranded JSBs....and nothing more!

True statement , the FX pellets in all sizes are made by JSB for FX. I ordered some of the FX 15,9 , when the JSB were sold out to try and had good results @ 20 to 80 yards.Liked them enough to order the 18 grain , going to try those today .

follow up on the FX 18.gr .22 pellets;; the 18.gr worked good! , I don't have a chrono , just watched my manometer pressure, to find the sweet spot . Targets were set @ 20, 40, 60, and 80 yards. at 20 to 60 yards , 1/8 inch { largest ] 3 shot groups At 80 yrds I got 1/8 size groups{ largest} from 36 rounds / 3 mags the pressure fell off at the end of my shot string , and the last two mags / 24 rounds were 1/8 to 1/4 groups. I shot 5 mags / 60 rounds at the farthest distances, and was pleased . I am sure that my shooting skills, "or lack of " played a part in my results. But hay, that's what it's all about, practice practice . So if you can't get jsb pellets in the grain you want try the FX pellets, oh ya, I used my Benjamin Cayden in the test.
