Anybody guess the speed by looking at flattened 22cal 22g slugs? shot these in the shop at a piece of plate. 10 yards or so. FX Chrony won't catch em. Too slow, or too fast?

So it turns out, i'm running super slow. I reinstalled the Ap, and used the UK airgun profile. It registered at 455 fps. Time to tinker.

Probably not enough distance, and possibly reflected signal. Just a guess on my part.
Take it outside and shoot it 25 yards.

Is there a reason why I haven't seen a pic with the FX chronograph mounted under the bottle ? My readings seem good, doesn’t miss any shots. Is it something I shouldn't be doing ?

Mine is under the bottle. I think the important thing is just having it perpendicular to the shot being fired. I have no issues with it this way.

i just set mine on the shooting table about 6-8 inches below the muzzle.
