FX pressure gauge

Was about to shoot my Maverick over the chrony, having just topped it to 250 bar, the Omega bottle max. When I picked up the rifle I saw the pressure needle at 265... then 275, then 300, then ...

Removed bottle, degassed plenum and held the rifle at different angles.

The dial face just spins freely now. Depending how you hold the rifle the dial face itself will turn showing the needle at a different place.

Sometimes the gauge housing & window are not secured well enough. I had to remove one of my gauges & re-glue the housing. It still works fine.

They break! Call your dealer (preferred) or FX directly.

I've replaced all of my Impact gauges with digital ones. If you try to replace the one indicating bottle pressure, you'll have to remove 2 mm off the threads. Easy to do if you have the tools. Why replace them? They have better accuracy, and you can calibrate them.
