I was considering a .25 FX 300 when I was looking for a new small game hunting rifle and ended up buying the regulated FX Royale 500 for the increased shot-count and the 100mm longer (more efficient) barrel .
Initially I was not keen on the bottle-gun design (for aesthetic reasons) but I have become quite fond of the rifle now that I am used to it. Its my first FX (I shoot primarily Feinwerkbau and Weihrauch rifles) and overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I was concerned about the balance and weight of a bottle-gun but find that it is very good on my Canadian version (which has an air-stripper instead of a moderator).
