"strikefast"Good, try getting a good solid bag like a Caldwell Tack Driver bag. Amazon sells them filled. Mine is very full and offers a serious rest.
Don't rest it on the bottle but on the forend. Then get a sand bag for the rear. Using, that solid rest, you may see a difference. Also ck your scope with the box drill. Get the scope crosshairs on a dot and shoot three pellets. Then click up 10 clicks and shoot at the same dot as you did for the first 3 pellets. Fire 3 pellets and then click left 10 clicks. Shoot again keeping centered on the original dot each time. Then 10 clicks down. Repeat the shots. Then click right 10 clicks and fire again. Your pellets hole groups should make a box on the paper and hopefully the POI after all the clicking should be close to the original.
Putting the gun in a gun vise is better if you have one. Just take you time and aim carefully and your result should be good. If your scope is the issue. it will show up with the pois of the box way off...Good luck and post your results when you get them......
Can I use this method at 10 yards and get any usable results?
