Just chrono'd the Royale 500 she is shooting about 650fps with the jsb 25.39 pellets and only around 590fps with the heavier mk ll pellets this seems very slow to me any advice would be appreciated thanks in advance.

How long have you had the gun? Does your 500 have a velocity control wheel? 500fps is spot one on my 500 with the JSB exact pellet. Check the hammer spring screw at the rear of the breach.

Have you chronied the three different settings on power wheel. Your fps sounds like the one dot. Either on wrong setting or wheel shows wrong 1, 2, 3 dots not aligned relative to power. Is your gun regulated?

Regulated gun my power wheel has only 2 settings there is a 1 dot and a 2 dot on the wheel same dots opposite each other, I was under the impression there was a third dot setting but just the two!

Power wheel setting on the 2 dot yielded 925fps with the jsb 25.39 I'm happy with that, dot 1 dropped fps the 650fps range tried all 4 locations on the wheel same result just 2 power settings!

See the 500 now has only two settings. Both fpe appear to be good. Enjoy. Watch where you swing the longer barrel/moderator.! I am used to my shorter 400. Forgot using longer gun and Keep on hitting the end.
